- Grew up in Recife, Brazil
- On the web since 1994 - big on IRCs and MUDs back then
- Went to study Economics after reading The Use of Knowledge in Society - dropped out after 2 years
- Ran Brazil's largest digital design event at the time
- Graduated in Design and went to build stuff
- Lived in Sao Paulo, San Francisco Bay Area, now in Lisbon
- Started three companies: First one popular and not profitable; Second had a good run and a happy exit; and the third went through Y Combinator
- Product Leader in two unicorns: Loggi, and Gympass/Wellhub
- Now running Belem AI - an AI Lab in Lisbon
